At Caracas

Hey everybody and I know I have been out of blog business but with this long post I hope to make it up. One reason that I have not been able to post is that we are at our grandparents house. We have been at Caracas for a while and we brought our school! WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD WE DO THAT????????? I have no idea especially that it was Easter week. That has been the thing keeping us busy these days at our grandparents house. It was cool staying here because our Granna has cable TV. One good thing of that was that we were here during the Masters golf tournament and another thing good thing about it is that we got here for the opening day of baseball. Maybe some of you guys know that I love baseball but I know of many that do not so I was just telling you of that. Now, there was a draw back to the cable TV. We had to painfully watch Tiger Woods get beat by none other than the great, honorable Zack Johnson. NOW WHO IN THE WORLD HAS EVER HEARD OF HIM????? Other than that I can tell you that Caracas is freezing. One night I felt a piece of ice growing on me. {I am not crazy, it just that some do not know the word exageration}Well there is not much to tell you so bye!

Whew! What a week!

Whew! What a week! Last week was a conference in the church and man, what a blessing! There were so many saved I couldn't keep count. Although many got saved now there are seven who always come who got saved in the conference and are dedicating their lives to the Lord. To start out, the C.E.F.I.B.(For those of you who do not know who they are, they are an institute in the city of Yaracuy) and their pastor, Pastor Carlos Ramos came to evangelize and invite people to the conference. Pastor Ramos would be coming for the first part of the week to preach from Monday to Wednesday and another pastor from the church of Guarenas, Pastor Guillermo Avila would preach from Thursday to Sunday. We saw many souls that week come to accept Christ as their personal savior.One thing about the C.E.F.I.B. was that they didn't just come here, listen to the preaching, and maybe go out and evangelize an hour. Not at all!! Let me tell you something first, the preaching was at night every day. What the C.E.F.I.B. did was in the morning wake up early and right away go to the church then start evangelizing. They evangelize the whole day and then, when it was about an hour away from starting the church service they would go by the houses of all the people they had invited and ask them if they wanted to come that night. Every day of the confrence was a blessing. It was really cool when I went with them one day. The first day I got a super bonus by figuring out that all the boys including Ethan were going to stay the night in a house in a city near La Victoria called Turmero. Now here comes the super bonus. All the girls from the institute were to stay at our house. I asked my dad if I could sleep with the boys and he said no!Then I had to spend a whole half a week with girls! ugh! grose! disgusting! Now that you know about I feel about that I can tell you what has been happening around the house this week. You already know that Pastor Avila was coming for the rest of that week. Well, he brought his family with him.They have three girls and they stayed at our house as well. As soon as they were gone too, our house seemed like a ghost town. It seemed unbelievably quiet. Of course we kept on with our normal lives and today I had a SUPER long school day today. And I really have nothing else to say so goodbye!

Brackets

And everybody knows what brackets mean when it comes to March, The NCAA tournament. Us as a family have never really cared much about March Madness until Uncle Joe came here. He just started talking about it on Wednesday and at first I was not very interested until he mentioned brackets. It sounded fun, the brackets and all and that was the talk of the night. It got to such an extreme that Uncle Joe invited us to their house to fill out some brackets and I picked like all the underdogs and so far only 6 of 33 games have been upsets. I went for Duke all the way until the Championship and it just happened to be, out of my luck in the first round that 1 of those 6 games, was one where Virginia Commonwealth University beat Duke. I mean has even heard of them! I guess you know where that would leave me, in the dust. Right now the score is Aunt Keely with 111 points, Morgan with 104, Ethan with 102, Uncle Joe with 101, my dad with 98, my mom with 95, and pesonally, who do you think would have last place other than the great, honorable Seth!!(with 65 points) NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I have been saying this to myself ever since Duke lost. Better luck next year. Now that we are done with the the March Madness stuff, I have got something else to say. My birthday!!! It is my birthday today and so far it has been good. Mom didn't wake me up and I got a nice rest like I have never had before. Dad came home from Caracas and said happy birthday and It has just been a great day. Tht is all the time I have but I'll see you next time I post. Bye-bye!

Why I don't want to post

And I would guess you already know because nothing much happens around here. Have I ever yet mentioned that I got an mp4? It is a really cool duhiky and I have already gotten some songs downloaded on it. The reason why I bought it though was because I had found out that it could actually play videos! I was amazed when I first found that out because I thought the ipod video was the only portable thing that could play songs and play videos at the same time. I was so excited that I was going to finally have something to do when we went on a trip or when I was waiting for Ethan and Morgan to get out of music school etc. . I bought it at Hiper Jumbo which for those of you that have not been to Maracay it is the second largest mall in Maracay. It had the mp4 of course, a pair of earphones, a charger, and a little disc that i couldn't figure out what to use it for. When I got home I finished my school really quick and got to work on it. The first thing I asked myself was how do I download videos onto the mp4? Well, we got to work on it right away trying to download Pirates of the Caribbean 2 but we found out that I needed a thing called a DVD converter to be able to download it. I was dissapointed but today we found out that the little disc was the DVD converter itself. That is all the time I have but I hope to see you next time I post. Bye Bye.

Burnt Really Bad!!

I mean it. It wasn't just a burn it was a really BAD BURN!!! Me, Morgan, and Ethan went to a paseo(a paseo for those who do not know spanish is a thing where a church goes to a park or to a soccer court) and we went to a soccer court. Since there were two soccer fields right in a row we also got to play volleyball. We were there for five or six hours and the sun was blaring hot! Those three days at Caracas were really busy, always doing something like swimming, paseoing, (if that's even a word) going to church and playing ping-pong there, and even blogging. After that it only got worse. We got in the car with our hands and arms aching from volleyball, our feet aching from soccer, and our skin aching with sunburns. We were going from Caracas to Maracay when in the middle of our trip our car broke down. We were there for about a half an hour when a couple of army men came and then ten minutes later the taxi came and took everyone even Tubby except for Morgan, Mr. Tumnus, and my dad. Poor Tubby had one of the rockiest trip he had ever had. Anyway, after one of the thickest traffics ever, we got at our house about two and a half hours later. Then other than getting a clean house like we left it, We suppose but we are not sure that first a fire happened somewhere near then a windstorm went all around Maracay and all the ash from the fire flew into our house. The house was covered with ash, the seats, the desks, the tables, and especially all of the floor. An hour later Mom contacted Dad and the tow truck still had not arrived. Finally, at 11:00 a'clock, Dad and Morgan got here and we unloaded the car and that was the end of one of the longest days I had ever experienced. I woke up in the morning and to add to my tiredness, the electricity had turned off and I couldn't even start school until 1:00 in the afternoon. That is as much as I can fit in this post so goodnight!!

Normal News

I think that you already know what I mean by normal news, NOTHING!!! Well, that is not really true, for after a pretty exciting three days in Caracas. On the Friday, we found the Amazing Race show back on and for those who do not know what it is, it is a race where either a family of four or a couple do some pretty cool stuff which is sometimes scary. We also watched a movie called the "flight of the Phoenix" it is a cool movie, you should see it. On Saturday, I woke up late and found that Morgan and Ethan had already gone to the jovenes meeting. Dad had also gone with them only he left them off and he had gone to La Victoria to evangelize. We watched the three stooges then we went down to the pool. Since Dad was gone and so were Ethan and Morgan, just me and the babies went to the pool. We had a great time except for the fact that we got burnt like crisp. For the rest of the day I blogged and checked out on other blogs. I also did write on Tubby's blog for those of you who haven't read my last post his site name is www.trappedinacage.blogspot.com. Today was a busy day going to church and we also got to go to Tony Roma's where I ate until my belly good and ready to burst. Got to go now because my computer time is over so bye-bye!!!

Wassup?

So what is up? I am bored to death. Right now my dad is at his class and everybodyis lying around like bums. We are getting ready to go to Caracas though. We are going tomorrow and hopefully that will give us something to do.(which means the Sanders family won't be blogging from Friday to Monday.) Oh, and I wanted to mention that Tubby might be getting a blog. He asked me if he could get one since his cousin got one but I haven't told him he can yet.(They hate each other so whatever Tumnus gets Tubby feels he has to get to get one too.) Anyway, if he gets a blog I will let you know what the site name is next time I post. Yesterday, nothing happened except that I got my school day done fast and the rest of the day I spent watching TV, getting on the computer, or playing Xbox.(As you can see I have a very tight schedule) Today, it was a replica of yesterday. We are still behind on school (at least I am) and we're going to fall even more behind when we go to Caracas. I do hope that you do not have such a boring schedule as I do.

Well, first thing is first. I am BAAAAAAAACK. At least I haven't been gone as long as I was before, but I have been gone for a while. Basically, I have been doing school and we got a break from music school.(which by the way I detest.) The last I left a post I posted a quiz. Three people put their comments on. Aaron's birthday!

Today was Aaron's birthday! For his birthday we went to Mcdonalds and the Shags and my grandparents came as well. My gandparents are staying the night and then going back to Caracas. Well, nothing really happened exept that we are going to watch The Lake House!!!!!!!! The lake house is about two-well it is very confusing so you would just have to watch it yourself. Got to go now.

Ok, anyway one reason why I haven't written is because our life is like a cycle. For example: Monday, bla bla bla. Tuesday, bla bla bla. Wednesday, bla bla- Get the picture? Some things have happened though like Anthony{an institute member} coming to help in the La Victoria church, and mom getting a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet camera. By the way the La Victoria church is having its first service the 25th of February so that is really a blessing. Ethan told you on his blog about Dirson so please, just really be praying for him. Oh yeah, our grandparents also got back from the United States too and Aaron's birthday is tomorrow. As they say, save the best for last, The Super Bowl!!!!!!!!!!! who do you want to win? I am with morgan in the cat thingamajig. {although mom won't let her have it anyway.} And, if are still going to make fun of me quadruple sorry.

School, the terror, is back!!!

Hello it is me Seth again, and so is school . we started school again and we had to wake at 6:15!! {normal is 9:30 at least.} Aaron got his bike fixed. We got our ping pong table back from the church but they forgot the net and balls so the championship had to be delayed. I had the shortest school day I have ever had. Our family, all of them painted the front part of the house and we are going to finish the rest tomorrow. Me and Dad started on my model that i got for Christmas. There some pieces that were literally crumbs, really crumbs. Well it is almost 10:00 so I had better go, chow chow.

My new blog

Hello, yes it is me Seth. I fell in to the blog "plague" too. Yesterday we went to the church and stayed up all night playing ping pong. I lost every single game I played and Dad went almost all the way { he won 18 games in a row.} We also played cards and my brother brought his dart board game. Other than it being New Years Day, nothing has happened AT ALL!!! Today was so boring. I got my bike fixed a couple of days ago and I had the chance to ride it today.
